Crossroads

When you find yourself wandering around in the valley of the shadow of death with no way out, it is hard finding the strength, it is hard trying to hold onto the faith that has been promised. When you find yourself surrounded by cliffs of jagged rocks and there is no rope, when there is no Bear Grylls vine to climb, how do you keep the faith? When you find yourself standing at the crossroads with no roadmap, with no GPS, how do you know which path to take?

two thoughts -

Sir Winston Churchill said that when you realize you are walking through hell, you should keep going, until you are no longer in it.

In Alice in Wonderland, Alice asks the cat -
"Would you tell me please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a great deal on where you want to go to" replied the Cat.
"I don't much care where -" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go" replied the cat.
"-so long as I get somewhere' Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you are sure to do that. So long as you keep walking enough"

Whew! Here I am guys that makes three, however I brought a map. It says one way we will have to use lies, deceit and be untrue to ourselves but it will seem easy to take this path at first. The other way we will have to use caution but the truth is what we follow to get us through. So which way do you want to go guys?

I feel I'm at a crossroads too Stephen. I almost feel like I'm in conflict with myself. But know i'm just healing. I wish I could give you a hand, a real one. But my virtual one is right here.

Don't have the answer to where you place your foot next. I can cry on your shoulder and I am at this moment.

I am reminded of the phrase; 'He ain't heavy, he's by brother'.

My dear God in heaven, it can be so dark at times. I think, not sure in your case' that you know. It is the knowing that brings the pain. You know what the step is. And the step after that. It's the pain. Oh God it is so unnerving. Like being torn in two pieces.

The little poem about why there are only one set of prints on the beach when you know that the two of you are walking there. Because He carries you. A nice sentiment.

At times it is just that. The prints on the beach are one and very deep. You carry that load and it is so so so heavy.

I go back to the beginning: I don't know. But I think you know where to place your step, then the next...

Love ya man.
