This week is a Tuesday Teaser of a different kind. A photo from the shores of the Atlantic ocean and the beach! I stumbled across it and it got me to thinking. The coast of Georgia is a hop, skip, jump away from where I live. Numerous beaches, along it shores, and I hate to admit, but its been years since I have been to any of them. Years, since I have walked along the shore, years since I have felt the salty breeze of the ocean wind against my skin, and I have no one to blame other than myself. Life can not be this busy. Why do we do this to ourselves? I need to reevaluate the important things in my life.... I need to feel the sand beneath my feet.....

Yes you do!!!!! I absolutely love the beach and must live within a two hour drive at least. I go to Rehoboth Beach and P town. And even though it is very social, I find the quite times too. Nothing as rejuvenating as the ocean , the sound of it, the seas salt air, the heat of the sun and the feel of the sand, hot or cold. I always feel at peace and relax when there, no matter the time of year. You should go........

JP, Cumberland Island is absolutely beautiful. Its been almost four years since I last went there. It is on my to do list this year for sure. I will have to post some of the pics I took when I was last there.
mistress Maddie; we must be kindred spirits. It is so peaceful and I can't believe I have let this much time go by without going. This is the year, promise to self.
I love the beach, but I don't get there as often as I should, and I only live a couple of hours from it! There is something soothing about the continuous waves and the tides....and the sand.
Michael; sounds just like me, live so close and its been years. This year I will go more. I need the soothing peace it brings for sure.
