The struggles, the battles, the wars, too many to recall. Way to many what ifs or should have beens to worry about, what is done is done, there is no going back, there is no do-overs. If I am to survive, there must be a compromise...
I found your selection of picture quite fascinating and asked myself a question: was the wall built to accommodate the tree or did the tree break through the wall. Either way, the two have learned to co-exist.
And make sure that the compromise does not turn into a concession of your beliefs or your character. You have character that is welcomed by many others. ((((((Stephen))))))
Of all the blogs I read, you are one of the ones that touches me lately, you are coming through a point, where I have only passed recently. I am not sure what I can say to you because every one has a different life, take your time but understand you have to live true to yourself. I just felt I had to write because this weekend, Dave took me to see a place where they are building a house around a great tree, I knew I should have taken a picture!

compromise is not a bad way - we have to make room for our shadows

I like this picture!
Make sure it's a compromise you can live with.
Make damn sure you take Java's advise.
I'll ad mine as well. Make sure it's a compromise that you can thrive with.
